It all began in 1900 when watchmaker Melchior Gunzinger developed a watchmaking workshop in Welcheror in the Swiss Jura Mountains. The company's thorough commitment to timepieces and outstanding technical skills have earned it acclaim from watch collectors. Technos is named after the Greek word "techne" (technology), and as its name suggests, the company has produced many masterpieces based on the fundamental principle of watchmaking.
